Daesung Collaboration With Viet Han - Professional Cutting Tool Manufacturer

The partnership signing event with Viet Han marks a significant step for Daesung in its plan to develop a line of professional hair trimming scissors that meet quality standards and market demands, aligning with the brand expansion goals set by the company’s leadership.

On the morning of April 8, 2024, Tiến Gia Joint Stock Company (Daesung Brand) officially signed a cooperation agreement with Viet Han Mechanical Processing and Cutting Tools Limited Company in the production collaboration of professional hair cutting scissors for salons.

Attending the signing ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy (Director of Tiến Gia Joint Stock Company) and Mr. Nguyen Tien Bac (Director of Viet Han Mechanical Processing and Cutting Tools Limited Company) along with relevant departments.

The objectives outlined in the cooperation agreement between the two parties specify that Viet Han will be the official manufacturing unit for the Daesung branded line of hair cutting, trimming, and styling scissors. Accordingly, Viet Han will be responsible for the entire production process, advising on design improvements, and creating models that meet market demands. The steel used is 100% imported Japanese steel and produced using traditional Japanese methods.

It is known that Viet Han Mechanical Processing and Cutting Tools Limited Company is the first professional hair cutting scissors manufacturer and distributor in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. This entity owns several leading domestic scissor brands such as VLS, Akafuji, and Tora. Collaborating with Viet Han demonstrates Daesung's competitiveness in terms of quality and price as it enters this promisingly developing hair industry market.

Daesung is also a new brand that started operating in 2021 but quickly gained market share in the household scissor segment. Daesung has established a nationwide network of Distributors, Agents, and Affiliates, combined with a strong focus on online sales and exports, which has resulted in stable revenue and growth.

In the development goals for 2024 set by the enterprise's leadership, alongside plans to expand the market and establish distribution networks nationwide, Daesung is also focusing on promoting its line of hair cutting scissors with the aim of contributing 15% to the total revenue.

In the coming years, Daesung aims to diversify its models and designs of scissors according to international standards, aligning with the company's export orientation.

To achieve this, in the second quarter of 2024, Daesung and Viet Han will begin implementing the first orders based on the agreed-upon principles without conflicting interests between the two parties.
